Within an octolobe, ‘al-ʾimām al-Nāṣir / li-dīn Allāh amīr / al-muʾminīn’ (‘Imam al-Nasir li-din Allah, Commander of the Believers’ in Arabic); in the margin, ‘lā ilāha illā Allāh waḥdahū lā sharīka lahū [Muḥammad rasūl A]llāh ṣalla Allāh ʿalayh’ (‘There is no deity but Allah, the One, there is no partner to Him. Muhammad is the messenger of Allah. May Allah bless him’ in Arabic). Rev. Citing al-Kamil as heir within an octolobe, ‘al-malik al-ʿĀdil / walī ʿahduhū / al-malik al-Kāmil’ (‘King al-ʿĀdil. His successor to the covenant (i.e. heir) King al-Kamil’ in Arabic); in the margin, ‘[bism Allāh ḍuriba hādhā al-dirham bi Ḥim]ṣ sana thamān wa tisʿīn wa khamsa miʾa’ (‘In the name of Allah.
